Allison Mae Rutherford and John Angus Ferguson III were united in marriage at 5 p.m. July 13, 2013, at Weddington United Methodist Church in Weddington, N.C. The bride is the daughter of Michael Allen and Danette Rutherford of Weddington, N.C. The groom is the son of John Angus Jr. and Lydia Ferguson of Gainesville. The Rev. Terry Moore performed the ceremony. Carolina Strings and soloist Ashley Seitz presented a program of wedding music.
