Angel Marie Nichols and Steven Keith Murphy were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 17, 2009, at New Holland Congregational Holiness Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Jan Nichols of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Tim Murphy and Angela and Charles Lee, all of Gainesville.

The Rev. David Lewis performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her grandfather Jim Beacham of Cleveland.

The bride's friend Jenny Henderson of Alto was matron of honor. The bride's cousin Kaylie Beacham of Dawsonville was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Chris Henderson of Alto was the best man. The couple's son Mason Murphy of Gainesville was the ring bearer. Ushers were Matt Beacham and Tony Murphy.

Beth Murphy Nesbitt and the groom's aunt Judy Morris were the wedding coordinators. Chloe Beacham kept the bride's book.

The bride and groom wore heirloom rings belonging to Joann Smith.

The bride and groom gave a rehearsal dinner at New Holland Congregational Holiness Church in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

Morris gave a reception at Eastview Baptist Church in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Tampa, Fla., the couple reside in Gainesville.
