Mary and Jeffrey Jager

Mary Elizabeth Medlin and Jeffrey Lee Jager were united in marriage at 6 p.m. June 21, 2008, at Cumming First United Methodist Church in Cumming. The bride is the daughter of James S. and Kim H. Medlin of Cumming. The groom is the son of Wolfgang and Colleen Jager of Flowery Branch.

The Rev. Ronald E. Preuss performed the ceremony. Organist John Hutchinson presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's friend Mary Catherine Watson of Cumming was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Melissa Anderson of Cumming, Jennifer Prosser of Statesboro, Lindsey Shubert of Marietta, Candice Skinner of Cumming and Brittany Turner of Kennesaw. The bride's cousin Genna Lee Pool of Wrightsville was the flower girl.

The groom's father and brother B.J. Jager of Cumming were the best men. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Jeremy Anderson of Cumming, Kenneth Maxwell of Athens, the bride's brother Tyler Medlin of Cumming and the groom's friend Jonathan Ross of Buford. The groom's nephew Tate Vaughn Jager of Cumming and the bride's cousin Caige Phillip Pool of Wrightsville were the ring bearers. Laurie Hintz was the wedding coordinator. Carolyn Jager, Kaylee Jager, Carol Benham and Susan Rogers assisted. Claire Callahan kept the bride's book.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Tam's Backstage Restaurant in Cumming on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Polo Fields Golf and Country Club in Cumming following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Punta Cuna, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Cumming.
