Timothy Meehan and Kathleen McDuff

Miss Kathleen Cameron McDuff and Mr. Timothy John Meehan were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 2, 2010, at Grace Episcopal Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Marc McDuff of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Ms. Margaret Helen Meehan of Peterborough, England and Mr. Cyril Frederick Meehan of Morpeth, England.

The Rev. Douglas Dailey performed the ceremony. Organist Mr. David Burton-Brown, violinist Miss Sarah Beth Titterington and vocalist Miss Sarah Nicole Parks presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s friend Mrs. Marion Cavin Handley of Alexandria, Va., was the matron of honor. The bride’s sister Miss Lindsay Ann McDuff of Gainesville was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Miss Laurie Ann Bentz of Newport, Pa., Miss Stacy Elizabeth Fox and Miss Katherine Lee Highsmith, both of Gainesville, and Miss Gabrielle Maria Jaworskyj and Miss Julia Padgett Wynne, both of New York. The bride’s cousin Miss Bella Louise Curtin of Virginia Beach, Va., was the flower girl.

The groom’s friend Mr. David Andrew Madeley of Nottingham, England was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s friends Mr. Christopher James Hodkinson of Cambridge, England and Mr. David Roger Ibbett of London, England, the bride’s brother Mr. Douglas Compo McDuff of Gainesville, the groom’s brother Mr. Richard Mark Meehan of Stratford-upon-Avon, England and the groom’s friend Mr. Benjamin Andres Moss of Nottingham, England. The bride’s cousin Master Blake Laurence Curtin of Virginia Beach, Va., was the ring bearer.

Miss Perry Ellen Troutman was the wedding coordinator. Program attendants were Miss Ragan Lane Curtin, Miss Mae Bourdeaux McDuff Miss Emily Ann McDuff and Miss Maya Rosner McDuff.

The bride wore a veil and carried a handkerchief from 1900 belonging to her great-great-great aunt Mrs. Catherine Christine Bergner.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Grace Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a cruise to the Caribbean, the couple reside in London, England.
