Stephanie Ann Martin and Jimmy Louis Usher were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Dec. 27, 2008, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of W. Johnny and Barbara Knight Martin of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Robert Louis and Sally Head Usher of Clermont.

The Rev. Skip Ecke performed the ceremony. The groom performed as a vocalist with pianist Terry Sapp and guitarists Daniel Ecke and Ralph Taylor.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Melanie Ann Martin of Nigeria was maid of honor. The groom's daughter Ansley Eileen Usher of Clermont was a bridesmaid.

The groom's son Mark Louis Usher of Gainesville was the best man. The groom's friend Ben Parker was a groomsman. Ushers were Bobby Canupp and Scott Jones.

Irene Schmidt was the wedding coordinator. Alex Davis and Chloe Stewart assisted.

The bride wore her maternal grandmother's wedding veil and carried a sixpence that was given to her by her mother.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal luncheon at their home on Dec. 21, 2008.

The bride's parents gave a reception at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to North Carolina, the couple reside in Clermont.
