Miss Sarah Corry Markette and Mr. Clinton Mark Edwards were united in marriage Dec. 20, 2010, on St. Lucia Island in the Caribbean. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walter Hendrickson of Gainesville and the late Mr. Owen Franklin Markette Jr.

The groom is the son of Mrs. Lisa Thomason of Hartselle, Ala. and Mr. Steven Mark Edwards of Moulton, Ala.

Following their honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple reside in Birmingham, Ala.
