Katy Marie Lewis and Matthew Gregory Mitchell were united in marriage at 6 p.m. April 18, 2011, on the beach in St. Pete Beach, Fla. The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Vicki Lewis of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Greg and Barbara Mitchell of Gainesville.

The Rev. Will Dyer performed the ceremony. Violinist Amanda Gerttula presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride's sister Sandy Hobbs of Flowery Branch was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister Sara Dyer of Ruckersville, Va., and the bride's niece Taylor Lewis of Saint Augustine, Fla. The bride's niece Chelsey Lewis of Demorest was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Andrew Copeland of Gainesville was the best man. The groom's friend Brent Chapman of Gainesville was a groomsman. Adam Hobbs of Flowery Branch was an usher.

Diana Mautino was the wedding coordinator.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Bubba Gumps in Madeira Beach, Fla., on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception in the Presidential Ballroom at the Grand Plaza Hotel in St. Pete Beach, Fla., following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple reside in Grand Forks, N.D.
