Faith Elaine Ledford and Alexander Powell Turchi were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Oct. 27, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Judy Stone and Ricky McDaniel of Pendergrass and Wayne and Lenez Ledford of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Boone and Janet Turchi of Chapel Hill, N.C.

The Rev. Doug Dailey performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her brother Larry Ledford. The bride’s friend Tina Roberts of Gainesville was the matron of honor. The bride’s friend’s daughters Abigal Brock of LaGrange, Kate Bourlakas of Nashville, Tenn., and Nobi Roberts of Gainesville, were the flower girls.

The groom’s friend George Thompson of Arlington, Va., was the best man. The groom’s nephews Samuel and Jacob Fried of Winston Salem, N.C., were the ring bearers.Aiko Hollingsworth was the gift attendant. Users were the groom’s aunt Susan Miller, the bride’s uncles Dennis Stone and Ricky Stone and the groom’s uncle John Turchi.

Stefanie Ellner was the wedding coordinator.Jessie Stone kept the bride’s book.

The couple resides in Carrboro, N.C.
