The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Gary Latimer Sr. of Columbus. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vance Carlton Smith Jr. of Pine Mountain.

The Rev. Daryl Brown performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

The bride’s sister Miss Elizabeth Leath Latimer of Atlanta was maid of honor. Miss Elizabeth Wells Roberts of Columbus was the flower girl.

The groom’s father was the best man. The groom’s son Master Vance Carlton Smith IV of Columbus was the ring bearer.

Following a honeymoon to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, the couple reside in Columbus.
