Colleen Ann Kennedy and Ryan Patrick Cumback were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 19, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Charleston, S.C. The bride is the daughter of Jim and Jan Kennedy of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Bruce and Linda Cumback of Battle Creek, Mich.

The Rev. Gabriel Smith performed the ceremony. Organist Eugene Werner presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Erin Biehler of Dunwoody was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom’s sisters Katelyn Van Meter of Raleigh, N.C., and Kylie Cumback of Battle Creek, Mich,, and the bride’s friends Samantha Wolf of Atlanta, Amanda Floyd of Atlanta, and Janan Ghaddar of Austin, Texas. The groom’s niece Savannah Bell of Belleville, Ill., and a friend’s daughter Millie Kate Chosewood of Gainesville were the flower girls.

The groom’s brother Bret Cumback of Belleville, Ill., was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother-in-law Douglas Van Meter of Raleigh, N.C., and the groom’s friends Doug O’Donald of Charleston, S.C., Jeff Fain of Charleston, S.C., Jamie Wynne of Battle Creek, Mich., and Aaron Cumbers of Chicago, Ill. A friend’s son Dugan O’Donald of Charleston, S.C., was the ring bearer.

Marylou Yeatts was the wedding coordinator.

The bride wore a sixpence given to her by her father.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Poogan’s Porch in Charleston, S.C., on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at the Colonial Ballroom in the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, S.C., following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple reside in Charleston, S.C.

Regional events
