Julia and Joseph Barbani

Miss Julia Elisabeth Holman and Mr. Joseph Loren Barbani were united in marriage at 5 p.m. April 24, 2010, at Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Atlanta. The bride is the daughter of Dr. Elisabeth J. Teal of Dahlonega and Mr. Larry C. Holman of Tucker. The groom is the son of Mr. Ron J. Barbani of Tuscon, Ariz., and Mr. and Mrs. Tim Braswell of Brunswick.

The Rev. Jimmy Moor performed the ceremony. Vocalist Mr. David McFadden and organist Mr. John Richardson presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

The bride's friend Miss Erin Davis of Dahlonega was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's friends Miss Sanja Brtan of Cleveland and Miss Kayla Wright of Blue Ridge, the bride's cousins Miss Mckensie Dill and Miss Morgan Dill, both of Gainesville. The bride's cousin Miss Alyssa Teal DiBella of Cumming and the groom's half-sister Miss Sophia Braswell of Brunswick were the flower girls.

The groom's friend Mr. Chris Wilkes of Rockmart was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Mr. Zac Bianchi of Cleveland, Mr. Justin Chadwick of Cumming, Mr. Charlie Gregory of Dahlonega and the bride's cousin Mr. Maddux Dill of Gainesville. The groom's cousins Miss Callie Taylor and Master Cole Taylor, both of Baxley, were the ring bearers.

Mr. Phil Hulst was the wedding coordinator. Miss Caroline Westbrooks of Gainesville kept the bride's book.

The bride wore diamond earrings given to her by her father and a diamond bracelet borrowed from her mother.

The groom's mother and stepfather gave a rehearsal dinner at Mary Mac's Tea Room in Atlanta on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at The Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple reside in Fort Rucker, Ala.
