Miss Lynleigh Lacy Heslep and Mr. Samuel Winters Richwine III were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. July 19, 2008, at The Episcopal Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Marietta. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Douglas Heslep of Marietta. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Winters Richwine Jr. of Gainesville.
The Rev. Dr. Robert G. Certain performed the ceremony. Organist Mr. Gregory Colson presented a program of wedding music.
The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's friends Miss Theresa Dorothy Dowst of Kennesaw and Miss Misty Meredith Hinds of Marietta were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister Dr. Elizabeth Richwine Cooke of Augusta, the bride's friends Miss Jacqueline Susan Lewis, Miss Gina Marie Marguriet and Miss Jennifer Strafford Wilson, all of Marietta, and Miss Jacqueline Christine Woo of Suwanee. The bride's cousin Miss Addison Nicole Probert of Kansas City, Mo., was the flower girl.
The groom's father was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom's friends Mr. Patrick Nish Arndt of Athens, Dr. Geary Parker Dillon Bush of Macon, the groom's brother-in-law Dr. John Stewart Cooke of Agusuta, the bride's brother Mr. Joseph Douglas Heslep Jr. of Marietta, and the groom's friends Mr. Alexander Stephen Papp of Enid, Okla., and Mr. David Cambra Smith of Atlanta.
Mrs. Suzanne Babb was the wedding coordinator. Mr. Jonathan David Roberts was the Scripture reader. Miss Shannon Leigh Deere and Miss Katherine Marie Trundt assisted. Miss Gabrielle Paige Probert and Master Samuel James Spencer Embrey kept the bride's book.
The bride carried her mother's prayer book.
The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at The Whitlock Inn in Marietta on the eve of the wedding.
The bride's parents gave a reception at The Pavillion in Marietta following the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon to the British Virgin Islands, the couple reside in Atlanta.
