Amanda and Steven Yorkey

Amanda Catherine Hedden and Steven John Yorkey were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Aug. 29, 2008, at Alpine Wedding Chapel in Helen. The bride is the daughter of Larry and Bridget Hedden of Dahlonega. The groom is the son of Everett and Beth Manness of Dahlonega and the late Dean Rasnizk.

The Rev. Austin Echols performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's cousin Katie Pulley of Dawsonville was matron of honor. The couple's friend Chey Hopkins of Gainesville was the flower girl.

The groom's brother D.J. Rasnizk of Dahlonega was the best man. The couple's son Steven John Yorkey Jr. of Dahlonega was the ring bearer.

The bride wore her late grandmother's rings and carried a flower arrangement made by her mother.

A reception dinner was held at The Helen House in Helen following the ceremony.

Following a wedding trip to Helen, the couple reside in Dahlonega.
