Reginald and Kamila Wyse

Kamila Shea Gillum and Reginald Lee Wyse were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Oct. 4, 2008, at the Smithgall Arts Center in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Mike and Wanda Gillum of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Cathy Brunen of Beverly Hills, Fla., and the late Richard Wyse.

The Rev. Tom Smiley performed the ceremony. Vocalist Belinda Chandler and violinist Chelsi Williamson presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her parents. The bride's friends Katie Vaughan of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kristin McLeod of Valdosta were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister-in-law Emily Gillum of Gainesville, the bride's friend Julie Gheesling of Gainesville and the bride's cousin Carrie Turrell of Knoxville, Tenn. The bride's cousin Hadley Turrell of Knoxville was a junior bridesmaid. The bride's friend Camille Holcomb of Gainesville was the flower girl.

The groom's friend Jimmy Payne of Buford was the best man. Groomsmen were the bride's brother Kyle Gillum, the groom's friends Chad Dean, Doug Adams and Mark Miller, and the bride's friend Mac Bennett, all of Gainesville. The bride's friends Harper and James Bennett of Gainesville were the ring bearers. Ushers were Matt Farmer, Bart Kimbrell and Blake Kimbrell.

Brooke Card was the wedding coordinator. Harris Wilbanks and Bill Sloan were greeters. Ann and Janice Sloan kept the bride's book.

The bride carried a sixpence that her mother carried on her wedding day.

The groom's parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Royal Lakes Golf Club in Flowery Branch on the eve of the wedding.

The bride's parents gave a reception at the Smithgall Arts Center in Gainesville following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Maroma Beach, Mexico, the couple reside in Gainesville.
