Paran Rebekah Fisch and Charles Baynes Norton were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. June 1, 2013, at First Baptist Church Chapel in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Buddy and Angie Fisch of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Charlie Norton of Alto and Kay Norton of Gainesville.
The Rev. Buddy Fisch performed the ceremony. Harpist Elizabeth Bennett presented a program of wedding music.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Rachel Hans of Gainesville, Kate Williams of Gainesville, Mallory Lee of Gainesville, Erin Brady of Gainesville, Marleigh Edwards of Athens, Sarah Nish of Gainesville and Jessica Butts of Gainesville. The bride’s sister Chloe Fisch of Gainesville and the groom’s nieces Sarah Davidson of Gainesville and Sally Davidson of Gainesville were the flower girls.
The groom’s brother Bryan Ballard of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother-in-law Ryan Davidson of Gainesville, and the groom’s friends Chad Cooper of Gainesville, Johnny Jimenez of Gainesville, Jason Pfister of Gainesville, Casey Emmett of Gainesville and Vincent Im of Gainesville. The bride’s cousin Pace Davis of Dallas was the ring bearer.
Judy Morris and Bonnie Vaughan were the wedding coordinators.
The brooch and cameo of the bride’s grandmother, Sybil Skelton, were pinned to the bouquet.
Ryan and Katie Davidson, the groom’s brother-in-law and sister, and the groom’s mother gave a rehearsal dinner at the Davidson residence in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.
The bride’s parents gave a reception at the First Baptist Church Banquet Hall in Gainesville following the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon to Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., the couple reside in Clemson, S.C.
