Stacy Lynn Chapman and Kerry Scott Garner were united in marriage at noon Oct. 10, 2010, at Forrest Hills Mountain Resort in Dahlonega. The bride is the daughter of Athena and the Rev. James W. Chapman of Gainesville. The groom is the son of Mary and Emory Turpin of Flowery Branch.

The bride's father performed the ceremony.

The bride was presented in marriage by her godfather, Douglas Kiser. The groom's sister, Lisa Brookshire, of Flowery Branch was matron of honor. The bride's best friend, Katie Dunagan, of Flowery Branch was maid of honor. The bride's niece, Lily-Amelia Dunagan, was the flower girl.

The groom's brother in-law, Shane Brookshire, of Flowery Branch was the best man. The groomsman was the groom's nephew, Jesse Brookshire, of Flowery Branch.

Kathy Major of Forrest Hills Mountain Resort was the wedding coordinator.

The bride's parents family gave a rehearsal dinner at Forrest Hills Mountain Resort on the eve of the wedding.

Following a honeymoon cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple reside in Gainesville.
