Elisa Cevallos and Chris Lyles were united in marriage at 2 p.m. June 23, 2012, at The Salvation Army in Lawrenceville. The bride is the daughter of Beatrice Ramirez of Gainesville, and Mario Cevallos of San Diego, Calif.
The groom is the son of Jerry and Betty Lyles of Fayetteville, N.C.
The Rev. Major Jerry Lyles performed the ceremony. Vocalist Jennifer Baker presented a program of wedding music.
The bride was presented in marriage by Tim Gee. The bride’s friend Danielle Cunningham of Gainesville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Candace Bottoms of Athens, and Priscilla Manrique of Gainesville. The bride’s friends Ella Cunningham of Gainesville, and Sarah Bottoms of Athens, were the flower girls.
The groom’s friend Matt Cunningham of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the groom’s brother Scott Lyles of Brunswick, friend Jimmy Taylor of Greenville. The bride’s friend Carson Cunningham of Gainesville was the ring bearer.
Major Casey Cunningham was the wedding coordinator. Diana Gomez kept the bride’s book.
The bride wore a broach and carried a sixpence.
The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at Carino’s Italian Restaurant in Lawrenceville on the eve of the wedding.
Karen Patterson gave a reception at The Salvation Army in Lawrenceville following the ceremony.
Following a honeymoon to Cabo St. Lucas, Mexico, the couple reside in Washington, N.C.
