Lauren Brooke Armour and Matthew Eric Pugh were united in marriage at 4 p.m. June 29, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Gainesville. The bride is the daughter of Ricky and Joan Armour of Clermont. The groom is the son of Ricky and Lynn Pugh of Gainesville.

The Rev. Bart McMillan and Judge Jason Deal performed the ceremony. Pianist Della Ruth Johnson presented a program of wedding music.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father. The bride’s sister Whitney Armour McFalls of Lula was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride’s friends Haley Jordan of Duluth, Julia Taff Ayers of Kennesaw, Emily Hembree of Gainesville and Lisa Blair of Nashville, Tenn., and the bride’s aunt Tiffany Whitmire of Lula.

The groom’s brother Justin Pugh of Gainesville was the best man. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother-in-law Chris McFalls of Lula, the groom’s friends Colby McFalls of Lula and Wes Hall of Jefferson, and the groom’s cousins Blake Hembree of Gainesville and Jameson Hembree of Gainesville. The groom’s cousin Conner Hembree of Gainesville was the ring bearer.

Caroline Millwood was the wedding coordinator. The bride’s friend Katie Rountree read scripture during the ceremony.

The bride carried a handkerchief and sixpence from her maternal great-grandmother, a Bible from her maternal grandmother and wore her paternal grandmother’s engagement ring.

The groom’s parents gave a rehearsal dinner at the Chattahoochee Country Club in Gainesville on the eve of the wedding.

The bride’s parents gave a reception at a private estate in Demorest following the ceremony.

Following a honeymoon to Montego Bay in Jamaica, the couple reside in Buford.
