In a sluggish economy, a group of North Georgia women take action to improve the lives of women and girls locally, regionally and internationally. The Women’s Giving Circle of North Georgia donated $15,000 to two nonprofit organizations, Georgia Women For A Change and Engender Health. As a donor-advised fund of the Northeast Georgia Community Foundation, members and supporters of the Giving Circle make charitable, tax-deductible gifts to the fund.
