Winner of gorilla-naming contest going to Disney
Memorial-Park-contest-winner
Dakota Miller won the gorilla-naming contest.

Five finalists in a gorilla-naming contest in Gainesville chose "Goliath," and finalist Dakota Miller’s name was pulled Saturday as the winner in a drawing for a trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla.

Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery held the contest to name the 900-pound bronze gorilla, the newest addition in the Noah’s Ark section at the cemetery.

The five finalists were among more than 2,000 entries in the contest. Dakota’s trip includes three nights, airfare, lodging, meals, a rental car and entrance tickets to the park.
