Marine Pfc. Shidarius S. Randolph recently graduated from basic military training at Parris Island, S.C.

Randolph completed 12 weeks of training in military discipline and basic warfare principles and skills. She is now headed to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina for more training.

She is the daughter of Diana Carruth of Gainesville and Keldin Randolph of Oconee County. Randolph is a 2007 graduate of Gainesville High School and attended Gainesville State College for two years.
