Tadmore student wins bar association essay contest
Turpin honored for submission about Magna Carta

Myra Nicole Turpin, a fifth-grade student at Tadmore Elementary, won the Gainesville-Northeastern Judicial Circuit Bar Association’s 2015 student essay contest, awarded May 8 at the annual Law Day ceremony. Submissions focused on the theme of Magna Carta: Symbol of Freedom Under Law, which was chosen by the American Bar Association to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the issuance of Magna Carta. Turpin is the daughter of Mark and Jaime Turpin of Gillsville.
