Ehiole Akhirome of Buford, son of Godwin and Omah Akhirome; Jeremy Bolian of Buford, son of Charles and Tricia Bolian; Michael Hatch of Gainesville, son of Steven and Ella Hatch; Myung Kim of Buford, son of Young Kim and Si Jang; Kristin Morgan of Buford, daughter of Charles and Sharon Morgan; and Jonathan Osler of Gainesville, son of Dianne and Bobby Stewart.

James Walters recently was named to the dean's list at Hampden-Sydney College in Hampden-Sydney, Va. To achieve this honor, students must have a 3.3 grade-point average. Walters is a graduate of Gainesville High School and is the son of Deborah Syfan and James M. Walters, both of Gainesville.
