Johnson High School students recently visited with World War II veteran Clyde Hudson as part of a class project. Ninth-grader Cody Collins asked Hudson to visit the class as part of his group’s presentation on the subject. Hudson brought books, photographs and his honorable discharge certificate to share with the students.

Wauka Mountain Elementary students recently painted a multi-textured representation of the school building. The painting was done as part of Atlanta visual artist Karin Mervis’ week-long residency at the school.
