The following students from Hall County have been awarded academic honors for the recently completed summer semester at Piedmont College:Trey A. McConnell of Gainesville was named to the dean’s list after completing the semester with a grade-point average between 3.5 and 3.99 out of 4.0.Jessica C. Hollis of Flowery Branch was named a dean’s scholar after completing the semester with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.

Jessyca Hart of Flowery Branch was the recipient of a $1,000 National Leadership Scholarship from Chick-fil-A. Hart is attending North Georgia College & State University.
