Riverside Military Academy musicians perform and earn superior ranking at statewide concert

On March 7, the Riverside Military Academy Symphonic Winds performed at the Georgia Music Educators’ Association Large Group Performance Evaluation. Riverside cadets performed a lyrical piece called “A Shaker Gift Song” and received the highest score or superior rating from each judge. “Today was one of my proudest moments with our cadets,” RMA band director Katy Wilson said. “They represented RMA with such camaraderie and class.” Wilson, left, and assistant band director Kelsey Brunson, right, lead the RMA Band program.
