Cadet Michael Mcclendon Sims completed Cadet Basic Training at the U.S. Military Academy. Sims is son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Sims of Gainesville and graduated from Riverside Military Academy. He plans to graduate from West Point in 2017 and be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
