The Medical Center Auxiliary recognized its volunteers at a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at the First Baptist Church banquet hall. Peggy Blackmon received the Marjorie Covington Smith Auxilian of the Year award, which was presented by Jennifer Bagwell, president of The Medical Center Auxiliary. Blackmon has been a volunteer at Northeast Georgia Medical Center for 25 years, given more than 4,000 hours of service and worn many hats during that time.
