Local student honored at UNGs annual conference

Several students were recognized for their outstanding performance at the University of North Georgia’s 19th Annual Research Conference on the three of the university’s campuses in Dahlonega, Gainesville and Oconee. Northeast Georgia students recognized were: Ashley Bell of Flowery Branch with award of top honor in health, physical education and recreation (Dahlonega campus). Suzanne Applegate of Dawsonville and Lisa Castleman of Flowery Branch with top honor in education (Dahlonega campus).
