Lanierland Civitan installs officers
Lanierland Civitan installed its new officers recently at the Church of the Latter-Day Saints in Gainesville. Past District Gov. George Chandler of Athens installed the officers. Outgoing President Betty Griffith transferred the gavel to incoming President Randy Owens of “Randy and Friends.” Additional new officers installed were: President-Elect Ray Marden; Secretary Ed Standera; Treasurer Terry Whitworth; Directors Minnie Moody and Martha Standera; and Chaplain Lanier Griffith.
