Jeff Gulle wins photographer of the year

“Lost,” by Jeff Gulle, won the Distinguished Award and the Fuji Masterpiece Award.

This past week Jeff Gulle, photography instructor at North Georgia Technical College, competed in the annual print competition with the Georgia Professional Photographers Association. For the second year in a row, he won “Photographer of the Year.”

In addition, Gulle also won Best of Show, The American Society of Photographers Elite Award, The Professional Photographers of America Certified Professional Photographer Award, the Lexjet Sunset Award, Fuji Masterpiece Award and the Kodak Gallery Award. Gulle has been a professional photographer since graduating from NGTC in 1985. He has been teaching at NGTC for 6 years.

The Georgia Professional Photographers Association convention was held in conjunction with the Southeastern Professional Photographers Association. SEPPA is the largest regional affiliate of the Professional Photographers of America and encompasses states from Delaware to Florida and Mississippi to Puerto Rico.
