James Pitcher, a 2012 East Jackson Comprehensive High School graduate, has been awarded a Baldor Electric Company Foundation scholarship. Pitcher of Commerce will return to the University of Georgia in Athens to continue in the pharmacy program. He is a member of the pre-pharmacy club and has received the Zell B. Miller scholarship.
