The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia has received $50,000 from the estate of the late Conrad Holsten. Julie Edwards, executive director of the humane society, said the funds will be used to support and expand the society’s foster program, to support the facility’s adoptable animal food program and to fund future facility renovations. “I had the pleasure of getting to know Conrad during the past five years at HSNEGA,” Edwards said.
