Good Samaritan Food Bank received a grant May 27 through the Atlanta Community Food Bank to help better serve our community. The grant will allow the food bank to install a new walk-in freezer/cooler increasing its ability to provide more fresh and frozen products to more families. In 2014, Good Samaritan assisted more than 15,000 families — or approximately 50,000 people — with groceries totaling more than 972,000 pounds.
