Amy N. Brown, the reigning Miss Hall County, recently donated the proceeds from the 2009 Miss Right to Life of Georgia pageant to officials from Georgia Right to Life.

The Aug. 15 presentation included a $3,500 donation to the organization. Brown, who won the Miss Hall County title earlier this year, organized the Miss Hall County Right to Life pageant.

The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension in Hall County recently held its annual Elected Officials Luncheon. The 4-Hers had the chance to speak with Hawkins along with County Administrator Charlie Nix and County Commissioners Bobby Banks, Billy Powell and Tom Oliver about their involvement in 4-H.
