Hall returning to in-person school on hybrid schedule Jan. 19
Hall County Schools will return to an in-person hybrid schedule beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19, after the school system reported stabilizing COVID-19 numbers and “significantly” decreased student cases, Superintendent Will Schofield announced Thursday morning.

Rick Aiken, director of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia, receives a check for $134 from Jessica Starke and Maddy Towles, both 8, and Wyatt Starke, 6. The children raised money along with Kendra Bates, 8, not pictured, by selling refreshments at the Aug. 29 football game between Gainesville and Buford High School. The group plans to set up stands at future home games.
