Andrea Nguyen of Gainesville recently donated 20 inches of her hair to Locks of Love, which is a public nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada younger than 21 years old and are suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Andrea had back surgery Jan. 17 at Emory and donated her hair beforehand.
