Seventh-grade students from Gainesville Middle School were awarded state recognition in the Duke University Talent Identification Program. Students were Asta Ceesay, Bennett Burns, Joseph Diaz, Virginia O’Keefe, Dianna Penado, Irene Que and Grayson Wagner. The program recognizes students who have demonstrated advanced proficiency for college readiness as demonstrated on the measures for college readiness, the SAT or the ACT.
