Gainesville Middle School raises money for shelter

Gainesville Middle School on April 30 hosted its first Empty Bowl project. Art teacher Katherine Ware organized the event and worked with students, faculty and community members to make more than 100 bowls. Food was donated by Atlanta Bread Co., Brusters, Chick-fil-A, Chili’s, Food Lion, Loco’s Grill & Pub, Mellow Mushroom, Outback Steakhouse, Publix, Recess Southern Gastro-Pub and the White Tiger.
