William F. Morris, a 2013 Gainesville High School grad, has been selected to participate in The Harvard Summit for Young Leaders in China.

One of 25 Harvard undergraduates accepted to participate, Morris will spend 10 days with HSYLC in Shanghai after completing a nine-week language immersion program in Beijing with The Harvard-Beijing Academy. Morris studied Chinese language and culture under the direction of Julia Zhu during his high school career.

Morris will develop curriculum and teach a seminar on the regional/cultural differences across the United States. HSYLC 2014 will serve as an intense forum for cultural and intellectual exchange and as an opportunity to cultivate leadership skills in talented Chinese high school students.
