Five airmen with local ties complete basic training
Andrew S. Tribble

Air Force Airman Andrew S. Tribble, Airman Tyrone L. Stainback, Airman Kaleigh M. Vickers, Airman Breanna L. Harper and Airman 1st Class Brianna S. Borders graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Tribble is the son of Anthony Tribble of Duluth, and brother of Nikkie Tribble of Gainesville. He is a 2010 graduate of Norcross High School.

Stainback is the son of Anita O’Neil of St. Louis, Mo., and Anthony Johnson of Gainesville.

Vickers is the daughter of Hubie and Nikki Vickers of Gainesville. She is a 2012 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood.

Borders is the daughter of Nikki Borders of Duluth and granddaughter of Peggy Sewell of Gainesville. She is a 2008 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2011 from Georgia State University in Atlanta.

Harper is the daughter of Elisa and Dwight Harper of Newnan. She is a 2011 graduate of Gainesville High School.
