Dr. Suzanne Erickson, dean of Brenau’s College of Business & Mass Communication, is one of 11 recipients of the 2015 Oxford Center for Entrepreneurs Fast Growth Award.

While Erickson couldn’t make it to the business accelerator’s official gala in Havana, Cuba, the award was nonetheless delivered to her.

The Oxford Center for Entrepreneurs was founded in 2008 at Emory University. The first-ever accredited Oxford Entrepreneur Master of Business Administration program, however, began at Brenau University.

Erickson received the honor for her part in leading the university’s MBA program, which connects postgraduate students to “second stage” entrepreneurs in the Atlanta area through apprenticeships, mentoring and other hands-on experiences.
