Two Gainesville High School students were recognized by Gainesville City Schools Superintendent Wanda Creel and the Board of Education for their accomplishments on Feb. 5-7 at the Georgia Thespian Conference in Columbus. Carlee Cosper was elected as one of seven state thespian officers, who will represent the 4,000-plus student thespians in Georgia. She will attend the International Thespian Conference this summer at the University of Nebraska.
