Jeff and Sarah Wright of Flowery Branch announce the engagement of their daughter Christina Michelle Wright to Adam Matthew Bourne, son of Tom and Marci Bourne of Grayson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joe and Mary Wright of Buford, Frances Shumaker of Atlanta and the late Elmer Shumaker.

She is a 2004 graduate of West Hall High School in Flowery Branch. She is attending Georgia State University majoring in business and marketing.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mercedes Morsek of Ocala, Fla., and the late Cletus Morsek and Thomas and Marietta Bourne of Pittsburgh.

He is a 2000 graduate of Berkmar High School in Lilburn. He is employed as a sales manager in Atlanta.

The couple plans to wed April 2008 in Atlanta.
