Donna and Rusty Williams of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Elizabeth Tatum Williams to Matthew Scott Waters, son of Gay and Scott Waters of Gillsville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Russell Williams and the late Marilee Williams, and Barbara Logan of Gainesville.

She is a 2010 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She is currently pursuing a degree in early childhood education from the University of North Georgia.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Wayne and Ruby Abernathy of Lula, and Randall and Judy Waters of Oakwood.

He is a 2007 graduate of Banks County High School in Homer. He graduated in 2012 from North Georgia College & State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. He is employed by United Community Bank in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed June 15, 2013, at Hurricane Shoals Park in Maysville.
