Chuck and Debbie Walls of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Stephanie Elyse Walls to Jonathan Blake Vandiver, son of Steve and Shanna Cronic of Gainesville and Ronnie and Sue Vandiver of Sharpsburg.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grady Walls and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Patten, all of Gainesville.

She is a 2002 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2007 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and special education. She is employed as a teacher with the Hall County School System in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Vandiver of Clermont and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Fair.

He is a 2002 graduate of East Hall High School. He graduated in 2006 from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He is employed as a sales coordinator with 84 Lumber in Charleston, S.C.

The couple plans to wed June 28, 2008, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Gainesville.
