Nolan and Gay Truelove of Murrayville announce the engagement of their daughter Heather Nicole Truelove to William Eugene Wilbanks III, son of Bill and Kathy Wilbanks of Jefferson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of J.E. and Kathleen Truelove of Murrayville and the late Tom and Faye McMullan.

She is a 2003 graduate of Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega. She graduated in 2008 from Brenau University in Gainesville with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in middle grades education. She is employed as a teacher with Lumpkin County Schools in Dahlonega.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Billy and Mary Wilbanks of Jefferson, Lois Bridges of Commerce and the late Eddie Bridges.

He is a 2003 graduate of Jackson County High School in Jefferson. He graduated in 2007 from Valdosta State University in Valdosta with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. He is employed as the quality assurance auditor with Zaxby's Corp. in Athens.

The couple plan to wed June 18, 2011.
