Ms. Tammy Denise Lashley of Gainesville and Dr. Henry St. George Teaford Jr. and Mrs. Janna Teaford of Americus announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Shelby Dale Teaford to Mr. Justin Michael DeCusati, son of Mrs. Jill Clifton DeCusati and Mr. Albert Joseph DeCusati of Milton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Lashley Jr. of Americus, the late Mr. George Teaford and the late Mrs. Louise Teaford of Americus.
She is a 2007 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2011 from University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in family consumer sciences. She graduated in 2013 from Piedmont College with a MAT degree. She is employed as a teacher at Gwinnett County Schools in Norcross.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Albert William DeCusati and Mrs. Albert William DeCusati of New Haven, Conn., the late Mrs. Dorothy Westmoreland Clifton of Dalton and the late Mr. Eldridge Howell Clifton of Abbington, Va.
He is a 2005 graduate of South Forsyth High School in Cumming. He graduated in 2008 from University of Alabama and in 2013 from Kennesaw State University. He is employed as a regional account manager at Granite Telecommunications in Smyrna.
The couple plan to wed Sept. 17, 2016, in Dahlonega.
