Gary Stump of Gainesville and Timothy and Kathy Apperson of Waxhaw, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Boone Stump to Kyle James Haupt, son of James and Tracey Haupt of Monroe, N.C. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Roy and Ruth Tallent and the late George and Barbara Stump. She is a 2004 graduate of Parkwood High School in Monroe, N.C. She graduated in 2008 from Appalachian State University with a degree in health promotion. She is employed as a donor recruitment representative at the American Red Cross in Asheville, N.C. The groom-elect is the grandson of Ed and Patty Haupt of Monroe, N.C., and Bette Williams of Bagdad, Ky., and the late Bob Williams.
