Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Strickland of Gainesville, announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Lauryn Elizabeth Strickland to Mr. Samuel Walker White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emmitt White of Monroe. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Patrick of Clermont, Mr. Tony Peck of Murrayville, Ms. Marcia Strickland of Gainesville, and Mr. W.R. Strickland of Clermont. She is a 2006 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville.
